The performance was inspired by the character of Wonder Woman, a female ideal that was created by Dr. William Moulton Marston, psychologist. A female ideal that was born through a man’s point of view, a female ideal that was created from two women: the creator’s wife and his lover to a woman that is the „fruit” of a polygamist relationship. Thanks to the psychological built-up of the character, up to this day she is the only real popular superheroine with. She became the symbol of equality, justice and feminist propaganda. She is an attractive and strong character with whom millions of women can identify, they can recognise themselves in her, since she has several qualities that can be found in everyone.
The production is the interpretation, procession and also questioning of the character from a women’s point of view. Considering it’s topic it doesn’t talk about the opression nor does it discuss the femine existence’s problems. It is more like it shows us a grotesque world, where the reality slips into fantasy, and from there it returns to the real space. It examines the layers of our personalities through our desires, sexuality and fears. What does femine strength actually means? Are the two characters one and the same or are they two separate entities that have different desires and demands? Is it possible for one person to be the „perfect”, the „one” for itself, or is it necessary for us to complete each other?
