At age 20, Éva Fahidi returned alone from Auschwitz-Birkenau, where 49 of her family members had been murdered, including her father, mother, and little sister.
Aged 90, she is invited to step on stage for the first time in her life, and act in a dance theatre performance about her own life. Réka, the director, envisages a duet with an internationally famous young dancer called Emese. In the performance, the director seeks to bring Éva’s and Emese’s lives and their bodies into a dialogue.
Éva says yes without hesitation.
Three women, three months – a series of crossing boundaries. The key moments of Éva’s life are condensed into theatre scenes, while a relationship of unexpected strength is born between the three women.
